Angolan State-owned national flag carrier TAAG Angola Airlines (TAAG) has taken delivery of the first of six De Havilland Canada (DHC) Dash 8-400 twin turboprop airliners. The aircraft were ordered in June 2019 during the Paris Air Show. “We selected the Dash 8-400 aircraft to support our development of a stronger domestic network and also to support our regional and international networks,” explained TAAG Chairperson and CEO Rui Carreira. “With our acceptance of our Dash 8-400 aircraft, we are continuing to implement our restructuring strategy and enhancing our service to smaller communities.”
