MBA North welcomes infrastructure strategy, but warns that implementation is key

The Master Builders Association (MBA) North has broadly welcomed President Cyril Ramaphosa’s vision of infrastructure spending as the flywheel of South Africa’s recovery from the Covid-19 crisis.  Speaking at the inaugural Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa held on June 23, President Ramaphosa said that 88 investment-ready projects had already been identified by the Presidency’s Infrastructure and Investment Office head Dr Kgosientsho Ramakgopa and Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Patricia de Lille.
