Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe has been admitted to hospital on Monday, days after contracting Covid-19. Mantashe, along with his wife Nolwandle, whose positive status last week has been confirmed. In a statement, the government confirmed that Mantashe, 65, has been admitted to hospital, while his wife continues to self-quarantine at their home.
