TSAM provides R15m in Covid-19 aid to eThekwini, KZN governments

Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health, as well as the eThekwini metropolitan municipality, to support the fight against Covid-19. The MoA, signed by TSAM president and CEO Andrew Kirby, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health head Dr Sandile Tshabalala and acting eThekwini municipality city manager Sipho Cele, outlines Toyota’s pledge of close to R15-million to provide Covid-19 testing equipment, hospital facility support, ten Hilux bakkies for contact tracing, as well as 50 000 face shields in the region.
