Mobile operator Cell C’s strategic turnaround efforts are starting to reflect in the company’s underlying financial results performance during the six months to June 30, 2020, said CEO Douglas Craigie Stevenson on October 20. The company’s net loss widened significantly from R875-million in the first half of 2019 to R7.5-billion in the six months to June 2020, owing to one-off costs and adjustments into billions of rands.
