Investments totalling R7.7-billion are heading directly to the City of Cape Town, mayoral committee member for economic opportunities and asset management James Vos said on Sunday. Of the investments announced at last week’s Presidential Investment Summit, R7.7-billion would be invested directly into Cape Town. The investments included Google (R2.2-billion), Amdec (R2-billion), Capita (R500-million) and Teraco (R3-billion), Vos said in a statement.
