High quality 3-D printing of concrete is now possible at industrial scale to improve both production time and cost of precast elements. In order to extend the application to structural elements and due to the brittle nature of concrete, the need of addition of Steel reinforcement, post tensional cable or structural fiber is required. In this presentation, we demonstrate how structural fibers are used to create a composite which improves both toughness and fire resistance of 3-D print concrete.
