Industrial research organisation the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) on February 19 announced that it has partnered with the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) of Colombia operator Corporación Ruta N Medellin (C4IR.CO) to unlock the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, as well as to bolster research capacities in Colombia and South Africa. The organisations have agreed to collaborate in the areas of AI, distributed ledger technologies and IoT.
