The South African new-truck market should see an L-shaped recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, says UD Trucks Southern Africa (UDTSA) marketing and sales director Rory Schulz. The 2020 combined medium, heavy and extra-heavy truck and bus market reached 22 736 units in 2020, down 19% from the 28 012 units recorded in the domestic market in 2019.
