Telecommunications group MTN Nigeria has acquired an additional 10 MHz spectrum in the 800 MHz band from Intercellular Nigeria for an undisclosed amount. This followed the approval by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) of the transaction and assigned the frequency to MTN Nigeria.
