The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) plans to invest more than R330-million to support Johannesburg Water’s short- and long-term plans to build more resilient water infrastructure for the Brixton, Hurst Hill and Crosby reservoirs and towers. The new project, unveiled by CoJ Environment and Infrastructure Services Department Member of Mayoral Committee councillor Mpho Moerane, will see Johannesburg Water address the protracted water infrastructure vulnerabilities affecting the Hurst Hill, Brixton and Crosby reservoirs and towers over the next 48 months.
