The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Mayoral Committee has launched a city-wide Climate Action Plan (CAP) with the objective of transitioning towards carbon neutrality and a resilient city by 2050. The CAP seeks to contribute to the objectives of the city’s Growth & Development Plan and aligns to the aspirations and objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement.
