The target gas-bearing fracture system has been intersected close to prognosis at natural gas producers Renergen’s R2D2 well between wells MDR5 and HR1, which are located at the Virginia gas plant, in the Free State. Renergen said on June 18 that gas samples would be collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis, with compositional results expected in the coming days.
