Industry organisation Agri South Africa (Agri SA) has welcomed the national drought disaster declaration published by National Disaster Management Centre director Dr Mmaphaka Tau on July 20. This follows urgent requests from farmers in drought-stricken areas of the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape provinces for drought relief.
