The Department of Water and Sanitation has provided R71.8-million in funding to the Dr Beyers Naude local municipality, in the Eastern Cape, for the Graaff-Reinet Emergency Bulk Supply Scheme. The scheme is aimed at addressing the water supply challenges in the drought-stricken town of Graaff-Reinet.
