Nel Hydrogen US, a subsidiary of Norwegian-based hydrogen production, storage and distribution company Nel ASA, has received a contract for a 1.25 MW containerised polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolyser from a leading utility in the US. Nel Hydrogen US has received a purchase order for the 1.25 MW PEM electrolyser for installation at a nuclear power plant in the US, as part of a project to produce carbon-free hydrogen production.
