The City of Tshwane received a proposal from the Kratos Consortium which seeks to drive industrialisation in Tshwane by means of three different, yet interrelated, projects. Considered in August by the city’s executive committee, the proposal speaks to the development of an iron-ore processing plant, agricultural production facilities for biomethane and hydrogen, as well as the use of both gas and exhaust emissions to drive turbines to produce clean energy.
