The latest Altron Fintech Short-term Credit Impact (AFSCI) Index has revealed an increase in short-term credit during the second quarter of 2021. The second-quarter 2021 AFSCI Index, which tracks the economic impact of short-term lending in South Africa, shows a year-on-year increase of 8.6% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.7% in the extension of short-term credit.
