Ferrochrome production, which is South Africa-based, rose 2% in the six months to June 30, reflecting consistent smelter performance, Glencore reported on Friday. Attributable ferrochrome production of 786 000 t was 13 000 t higher than in the first half of last year amid overall production being mixed period-over-period.
