Wholesale infrastructure provider Openserve and Google have officially launched the Equiano undersea cable after it reached its final landing in South Africa. Equiano, which is Africa’s highest capacity subsea Internet cable, landed at Openserve’s cable station facility in Melkbosstrand, in Cape Town, on August 8, in a partnership between Openserve and Google.
