A United States aviation fuel developer has placed an order for a containerised platinum-using proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser. Nel Hydrogen received the $3-million contract for the containerised PEM electrolyser to be installed at the world’s first commercial ‘alcohol-to-jet’ production plant for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), built by LanzaJet.
