Famous Brands attributes improved half-year performance to higher revenue, lower debt

Food services franchisor Famous Brands reported an improved financial performance in the six months ending August 31, with headline earnings a share having increased by 121% year-on-year to R2.15. The group’s improved financial performance was mainly driven by increased revenue across the business, with total revenue having increased by 19% to R3.5-billion, while operating profit increased by 77% to R393-million.
