Global crude steel production for the 64 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) increased by 4.1% year-on-year to 150.2-million tonnes in February. Worldsteel reports that China produced about 83-million tonnes of steel in February, a 10.9% year-on-year increase.
