Entrepreneur accelerator company Grindstone has launched a venture capital fund called Grindstone Ventures focused specifically on post-seed investments, where there is currently a gap in the South African funding landscape. The $6.5-million, or R100-million, fund is dedicated to seed funding predominantly South African innovative technology startups that have completed or are part of its Grindstone Accelerator programme, which acts as an early due-diligence mechanism for the new fund.
