A new financial services firm AgMerchant Capital was launched on November 9 and aims to be a keen participant in the agricultural financing services industry in South Africa through the provision of custom-made solutions. The new financial entity, founded by Chris Venter, will specifically focus on creating and managing a financial services operation, and supporting all the stakeholders in the South African agricultural value chain.
